Does someone know what these things are supposed to weigh? I'm considering
obtaining a set of the Dura Ace tubulars. Shimanos web site says they are
wonderfull but do not specify weight. How about the Kysyriums for that
matter. Does anyone have practical experience with the Lews?

My LBS has put them on a scale and claims that the Dura Aces are aprox.
1700 grams and the Ultegras are aprox. 1750.

Is that front, rear or both? Clincher or tubular?

>1700 grams? That's alot of weigh for $750+ wheelset. Better buy,
find a good wheelbuilder and have them build you up a set of wheels.
Cheaper, lighter and more durable. Further, if needed, can be repaired
by any competent mechanic.

I couldn't find a weight on the tubulars but I'd have to assume
they are lighter than the clinchers.

Shimanos claimed weights are as follows
WH-7700 (Dura Ace)
Front 730g Rear 960g Set 1690g Rim 475g
WH-6500 (Ultegra)
Front 765g Rear 1010g Set 1775g Rim 475g
The Dura Ace wheels feature an 11mm aluminum front axle and
titanium
freehub. The Ultegras use standard Ultegra internals.
The tubulars are only available in the Dura Ace wheelset.

I'll bet my wheels are close too. Campy Moskva 80's on Ultegra,
32H, 2X with alloy nips and Ritchey Logic 15-17-15 spokes. We
bought the spokes at close out and got two boxes of 500 for way
less than I can mention :) I forgot to mention that when you buy
the Dura Ace wheels, it includes a spoke magnet, two valve
adapters, two spoke wrenches, and a couple of wheel bags. Maybe
the weights include all of these accessories. It's just a
thought.
