Also, any experience/data on the Ambrosio Excellence? I can't find a
close-up picture on the web.
(I can still buy CXP30's before anyone reminds us that Mavic don't make them
anymore).
thanks in very much in advance for any info,
Pete Biggs
Hi Pete,
CXP30, 30mm rim height, Ø700mm weights 490g (I think).
CXP33, 24,5mm rim height, Ø700mm weights 470g. and Ø650 weights 430g.
Where can you buy CXP30's?

Sven

I have a wheel built up with Excellence rims. One of the nicest looking rims
around. I'm happy with it. Getting a new bike built up with the Excellight
rims.

CXP-30-about 40-60 grams heavier than CXP-33-also really need 16mm nipps for
the cxp-30-
ERD of CXP-33 is 597 and CXP-30 is 588(from memory here, not at the shop)-

How aero is the CXP30 really? : I wonder the extra height compensates for
the extra weight [40-60g according to Peter Chisholm]?

If you can find 30's, take them. If you can't, take 33's,
Sven.
