"I'm in no doubt he's telling the truth. I don't think you could make it
up," Kimmage told Sky.

Oh. My. For a writer, and a good one at that, Paul Kimmage doesn't have the
imaginative skills of the average lowlife on rbr. That's pretty sad.

It was meant to be. There is no shortage of creative writing skill shown on
rbr.

What's sad is that Paul Kimmage no longer feels the need to verify a story
anymore, if it's a story that supports what he has come to believe. And he
is, make no mistake, a great writer himself. "Rough Ride" is a great read,
highly recommended if you haven't gotten to it yet. He makes it easy to
understand how a normal ethical person can get sucked up into the culture of
doping without giving it much thought. He makes me very glad I didn't go to
Belgium when I had the chance.

What makes you think a sealed indictment hasn't been handed down?

What makes you think the President hasn't issued
secret orders to have LANCE terminated because he
knows too much?

What makes you think LANCE hasn't issued secret orders to have Lafferty
terminated with extreme prejudice because he's a gnome.

I bet you LANCE has been put on double-secret probation!

In the interest of the looming LANCE-free weekend, I should point out
that Jowls will take this as a challenge. Yes, I know he's
challenged, but that's a different sort. In the interest of having a
successful LANCE-free weekend we should practice ignoring Wobbly
Wattles starting now. Considering that he has nothing to add, posts
only links to articles about LANCE, and is simply trying to perfect
his FuckWit and FuckTard delivery system, ignoring him shouldn't be
all that difficult.

If you're on the fence about it, please consider that old Neck
Fairings has been totally silent on the Contador news. As RBR's major
purveyor of righteous indignation, that is a curious omission. The
news about Contador has brought out some long time posters who have
been silent recently, and the group has been lessened without their
voices.

The fact is that Grand Master Fwap has hijacked this group quite
successfully, and I am at least as guilty as anyone for feeding his
obsession. For that I apologize.

This will be my last post responding to anything he writes that does
not contain some actual information or at the very least a new
viewpoint. I won't be holding my breath.

Making rbr look good?
I suppose some would think it sad. I'm ecstatic.

To be serious for a moment, the people who write crap such as

"In better times, when exposed to an environment
containing abundant nutrients, instead of rushing to
exhaust the available resources, as human communities
often do, bacteria save for the future and make sure to
be prepared for hard times that might befall them in
the future."

have not got the sense of a bacterium.
Wait... Am I making their point for them?

Anyway. We never heard of a bacterium killing its host, have we?

I disagree. Throwing ethics to the wind
means the person was not ethical in the
first place. Chubby had a quotation for
that recently.

So am I. Would not want to hear you
weeping about the "mistakes" you
made, and how sorry you are to all
your fans, and resolving to clean
up cycling.

But he's associated with Weisel and Ochowicz,
and Ochowicz *did* kill JFK.

So the national security interest in this case
is obvious.

Now I'm wondering, is living the $12k dream really much different from the
owning a bike shop? The poor guy didn't realize Lance was helping him out.

I have experience with the bike shop end of things; I never lived the
$12k dream. Even when it might have been a $6k dream. I stayed local,
worked full time, never made the transition from Jr to super senior.
Maybe Paul Deem could fill us in.
