amateur racing karma follies

One of our club's former youth riders is now on the uniballer's
youth-dev team. I've mentioned this before.

So he showed up at the Spring Series (early training races featuring low
prices, long distances, and mediocre results reporting). I saw him there
and breathlessly greeted him with, "Is it true that you've met...Taylor
Phinney!?"

He laughed.

Then I got dropped from both the C and Novice races. Bike racing is
wonderful.
