Has anyone heard of plans for the full-suspension FS-R to be made out of the Metal Matrix (M2) material.
Is this stuff truly lighter, stiffer, and stronger than titanium? (and cheaper based on the price of Specialized M2 bikes.)

: No. Although Specialized is supposed to be working on a Butted M2 : MMC
frameset. All the M2 frames use straight gauge tubing since MMCs : are
incredibly hard to manipulate.

Specialized already has the butted m2 frames out. They are
called Super m2's
