I am a Wisconsin rider looking for races in the midwest. I am fairly new
to the sport and thus would be looking for begginer or sport level
races. Does anybody have any ideas or resources I could use to get
started? Thanks.

Sure, the WORS series (Wisconsin Off Road Series) offers more than a
dozen races a season (generally). Your local bike shop can give you a
brouchure about that. Where in WI are you? If you are in the Milwaukee
area you might find my page interesting. I have a page about the Kettle
Moraine State Forest (North unit) that has maps, pictures, directions,
all kinds of stuff (not too many links though, sorry). You can find it
at http://vms.www.uwplatt.edu/~paruch

If you are in SW WI, and getting to Platteville isn't too much of a
problem, I have an excellent bike club to recommend that has some great
trails. Where ever you are, there is a state biking guide on my page
(under biking references) that will show you trails in your area. Check
into WORBA (Wisconsin Off Road Biking Association). I don't have a
direct link to their page, but I have a link to the CAMBA page, and they
have a link to WORBA.

Hey Scott,
Check out these web sites. Most have a racing schedule attached somewhere.

Have fun,
