I'm about to start cycling again after a few years. The problem is that I now
wear hard contacts. I'm looking for the best protection from wind and anything
else. Anyone have any recommendations?

I've seen some wrap-arounds by Rudy Project and Oakley. Any contact wearers
have good or bad experiences?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Milo,

I also wear hard contact lens. Usually I just use the Killer Loop
sunglasses (not a cycling specific, just a street wear glasses). I found
that wind or dust is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is the
sweat running to your eyes. So just get any glasses that you think is
cool, since most of them will work the same for the wind.

For sweet in your eyes the best is a head band
in towell tissue like the tennismen wear.

I go to the hardware store and buy clear industrial-grade eye protection
glasses ($7 to $12). They are relatively cheap, optically excellent,
they filter UVs; they are lightweigh, fit snugly, comfortably and
reliably.

I much prefer them over sun glasses or bike specific eyeware.

Long-time hard contact wearer here, that can count on one hand the
times I've ridden without eye protection. I just use shop/protective
glasses. Sport glasses that I've tried, tended to wear out( but I am
pretty hard on stuff 8)) and I like to have choices for lenses
including clear so I buy on the cheap. Rhino eyes were the best, but
none of the local hardware stores stock em. Here's a link

good luck with it,
