Mild soap in a bathtub full of warmish water. Fingernail brush on the
stubborn nurdles. Air dry for a couple of days.

I field test backpacks for Kelty, Jansport, Peak 1, and Eagle Creek, and all
of them tell me that the best way to launder a backpack is never and not at
all. Laundering destroys the pack's waterproofing and you'll never restore
it to it's original weathertightness. If you must, wipe down the pack with
a damp cloth, but never put the pack of anyone who isn't your enemy in a
washing machine.
