North Face's Leaking tents

My wife and I bought a North Face 2 person tent some years ago. We used it happily for some time, however the first time it was exposed to substantial rain it leaked. The water did not come from the seams but seeped through the entire fly. Our sleeping bags and all our gear was soaked and the trip ruined. We called North Face and they replaced the tent. We used it twice with no problem. The 3rd time we were exposed to a rainstorm this 2- year old tent leaked more than the previous tent. Another trip ruined.

North Face clearly has a major problem. I'm very surprised that they've let it go on so long.

Let me guess: "North Face" is a company
that was once respectable, but now has
let quality slip, using the cheapest
overseas labor they could find. :\

This appears to be a tired and ongoing
trope with companies these days. :(
