I'm going down to Rio in August and would like to find a flight school
or rental outfit to do some flying while I am there. I know it will
probably have to be dual time unless they fully recognize my license.
I've looked online to find a place, but have not had any luck. Anyone
have any suggestions?

This is a flight you can't miss. One of the most beutifull flying in
my life. You can rent a four seater with an instructor for aprox
$110.00 an hour, you can't miss this oportunity. The name of the
airport is Jacarepagua. It is located south part of the city close to
a place called Barra. I wouldn't go try to find something on the two
comercial airports( I believe there is nothing to rent there). Hope
you enjoy. I don't don't believe they will let you go solo though. The
name of the place is Aeroclube do Brasil. You can easily find their
page in the web. Any aditional questions contact me.
