Russians ARE clever engineers. However the
problem isn't so much in the engineering
but in the IMPLEMENTATION - the path from
drawing board to factory to the field.
Looks like Boeing hired a lot of Russian
production managers ... first the Max,
now their space capsule - stalled for
months again because of sticky valves.
Musk test-assembled his giant rocket today,
a booster with 29 engines and the 'Starship'
on top. They were confirming A would bolt
on to B. He's just ONE American guy - making
it happen. He couldn't exist in Russia or
China or even the EU.
