I built an Enduro -- pretty much to plans except I powered it with a slightly derated Vitorazzi 185 which meant moving the engine support a smidge aft. L/D of 8, 381 lb gross weight at takeoff, I burn 4.4 gallons of 40:1 in total to warm up, takeoff, climb to about 1000 ft AGL, travel 220 statute miles at 55 mph and land. The big windscreen results in less turbulence and felt airflow than I feel in a Weedhopper or Gypsy which don't have nearly the airspeed. I also know of a Hardnose / Minimac hybrid and a Mach .07 flying around here (Wisconsin).
