Ok what is the difference between a Archer and a warrior? I looked at a
panel picture of the Archer and it looks the same as a Warrior?

I think its mainly a horsepower thing. I've flown both, and besides the
greater HP and better useful load in the Archer, they seem like practically
the same plane.

I was pretty impressed with the Archer, btw. Something like 700lbs payload
with full fuel.

The Warrior is basicly an Archer with a 160 HP engine (instead 180).

1/ Archers have 180hp engine, while the Warrior* has 150hp or 160hp.

2/ Older Archers have Hershey Bar wing. Warriors have semi-tapered wing.

3/ Archers have better equipment, such as electric trim, an auto-pilot, etc.

Was there ever a model called "Archer" that had the Hershey Bar wing? I
thought the tapered wing went with the change in model name from
"Cherokee 180" to "Archer".

The Archer has the Hershey Bar wing, the Archer II & III have the tapered
wing. The 1974 and 1975 model years of the pa-28-180 is the Archer.

The original Archers were PA-28-180s with the Hershey Bar wing. The wing was
longer than the earlier Cherokee aircraft, but was basically the same
design. When the Archer II was introduced, the semi-tapered wing from the
Warrior was used, and the aircraft became the PA-28-181. The Archer name is
thus used on aircraft with both types of wing, while Warriors only have the
newer wing.

Thanks for the correction.

That is a good question. What is the difference between a 172 and a
Skyhawk? :-)
