Hi everybody,

is there anybody who could give me some infos about the Elfe gliders?
I think they were built between 1970 and 84 by Neukomm (?), but that's
all I know.

So, any hints are wellcome.
Thanks

Bert

[your email-address} Removing is necessary for the (remove) as well as
for twice "...

Contact Martin & Peter Neukom @ Neukom Composites, Neunkirch/SH
[close to Schaffhausen],
Schmerlatstr. 12
8213 Neunkirch
tel.[+Fax?] [0041] 052/681 43 37
They are the 2 kids of Alfred Neukom [AN, the Elfe's constructor], who
died
in a prototype crash, and still maintain a composite/repair factory for
gliders as well as all composite stuff [they even produce some carbon
bikes].
P+M are around 35 yrs old, fly regularly at the Klippeneck Championships
early august, they have a asw20 [LL] as well as a shared ASH25 [IQ, a
the moment @ StAuban with Dani Thut]. They are 2 really friendly and
helpful guys always full of jokes!

There should be any number of people in Southern Germany/ Switzerland that
can help. A bunch of S-4's were made from kits/drawings in addition to
those made by Neukomm. They're great gliders that were leading designs. I
think A.J.Smith and G.Moffat flew Elfes (S-3's?) in Int'l competitions in
the 60's.
