Wow. And here I was stupidly thinking about spending thousands on a
plane that doesn't even have a motor. Now I can build my own ion
drive hovercraft and jet helicopter for less than $500! What was I
thinking??? I wonder if Home Depot is still open...
> The design of EZ-Copter is very simple, it uses a lightweight frame with seat, and a rotor head mounted to it. Mounted on the rotor head are the two rotor blades and two lightweight motors used to rotate the rotor blades, lifting this lightweight craft into the air.

Yes, but a pulse-jet powered homemade helicopter would be a
spectacular way to kill yourself!

Even earlier than that: the infamous Flying Flea is in there (the tandem-
wing aircraft). The only reason these didn't kill lots of would-be pilots
was that most of the examples that were finished wouldn't take off with
the engines that were used.

Naaa. Those guys are crazy, but they're not stupid.
Now, perhaps they could rig it to fly with a remote control, and put Buster
(their crash dummy, for those that don't know the show) on for the
pilot/slash/deadweight. THaT would be some good entertainment!
