Hola.
Re:
2017 single axle Cobra with OEM KargoMaxx ST 4000 195/70 R14, load 96N.
Kept at or near max cold PSI.
Tires have toe wear (inner edge), Left slightly more than Right.

Three questions for this august group:

1. Did anyone in US ever find replacement trailer (ST) or light truck (LT) tires in a 195/70 14? (See RAS thread in April--the Jacksonville, FL wholesaler whose link was provided there can not get them. Nor TireRack, trailer, etc.)

2. If not 195/70 14, what's next best choice? 195/75 LT or 205/75 ST would be enough bigger circumference that I'm a little worried about fender clearance. 185/75 would be a narrower footprint.

3. If my car tires had toe wear I'd do an alignment. How about on a glider trailer?

Thanks in advance!

What numerical value do you imply for max cold PSI?

I had similar wear patterns on my LS8 trailer and thought it was an alignment issue. I kept the tires inflated to 35 PSI. Contacted Alfred Spindleberger and he told me I should be inflating the tires to 45 PSI. I now inflate to 45 PSI and have had no abnormal wear on the tires.

Thanks, Dave. 44 psi cold.
Can you get that size in Canada?

A quick search here:
https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/automotive/tires-wheels/tires/all-season-tires.html

Shows that the 195/70 R14 size is available in various all-season tires.

For example this one is that size:
https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/tires/pdp/certified-alltrek-tire-0043000p.0043012.html

Ever since one of John Murray's trailer talks, I stopped using ST (trailer) tires and just replace the tires with all-season car tires every 5 years. The Dunlop tires that came new on my 29 trailer from Spindleberger were not trailer tires, just car tires.

I have purchased trailer tires in the past, but can't say I notice a difference not using them.
