you need the FAA Test Supplemental. (It does not have the illustrations).
Also, a book to look at is the Private Pilot Test Prep from ASA. It runs for
less than $20 and has the complete FAA question bank, and they're
categorized among powered, rotorcraft, glider, etc.

When I opened this site all I got was an ad. Any ideas about how to
get to the FAA questions without signing up for a service I don't
want?
