This beautiful, classic sailplane has an incredible history, having
been featured on the Minden, NV
postcard and flown at several Hilton Cups. Probably one of the
most photographed sailplanes ever.
Extremely easy to rig (15 minutes including tape) and a very easy and
forgiving ship to fly. Great
performance/dollar value for cross-country, badge work and general,
hammer-down fun.
Includes features well ahead of their time:
o Ultra simple, no brainer wing connection (hook up the ailerons, rest
is automatic)
o Single pin stabilizer connection (no bolts or parts to lose)
o Seat back and rudder pedals adjustable in flight
o Separate landing flap handle (with aileron mixer disconnect) for
ultra steep descents
o Tail chute if you need to get in really, really steep
