Looking for info on a Silene. About all I know is that it is dual side by
side, 18 meter built by Issoire Aviation.

For Sale: SILENE.

French side by side dual seat glass-fibre glider with excellent 38-1 cross country performance. Built in 1981 and still in very good condition with 1184 hours, 1064 launches, winch and aerotow hooks fitted, tow out gear and sturdy trailer.

Now reduced to 10,500 UK pounds (or near offer) because we want to sell a two seater before the season - we desperately need the hangar space and now have too many two-seaters after acquiring a K21. This glider is in genuinely good condition but we have had less interest from the UK than we had hoped for because (we suspect) Silenes are relatively unknown in the UK.

evidently not known well in the US either... it's not listed in the SSA
Sailplane Directory... only ones there by Issoire are Pik30 and Edelweiss
C-30S
