Thermal snooper

the thermal snooper was dead before it really hit the market. I remember
seeing one of my friends dropping it in flight(in a hangglider) and
announcing on the radio "uhh - got rid of this bul.sh..t - it is not working
and makes too much noice". That was already some 8 years ago and I can not
remember seeing any of these in any recent competiton. Neither in HG nor in
Gliders.
