disable Hawk AHRS in V8

Has anyone figured out how to disable Hawk Wind AHRS on the LXnav 9xxx V8? There was a comment on an earlier thread referencing the S 10 manual (P 77) but the option available on the S 10/100 is not seen on the V8, or at least, I have not been able to find it. I have asked LXnav and was told all I needed to do was go to the settings AHRS setup page and turn it off. I did that but it did not turn off the Hawk AHRS
