Hello,

I am building a throttle quadrant and am having trouble finding a
toggle/slide switch. Does anyone know a good source for a double pole,
triple throw, snap action momentary toggle/slide switch like those found
on a typical fighter throttle for speedbrake control?

Thanks,

You may have to settle for a 4-pole toggle switch but it's better than
nothing and not much bigger, physically.  They aren't all that common
but any large/medium sized electronics supply house can probably supply
it.  Heck, you might just find one at a Radio Shack store, you never
know.

I think you'd find a slide switch a little bulky (long) and they tend to
be a custom-built item in that configuration.

Hi Ben,
Funny you should ask, I made one of these by simply cross-polarizing a dual
contact optical ground click spring and soldering it to the underside of a
fourpoint reversable diode limiter coupled to a 3amp micrometer. I had a
little trouble with the vertical negative alignment wave, but a 50 ohm flux
pin soon sorted that out.
Other than that, have you tried Tandy?

(Sorry, Ben, honest. But sometimes you just have to :o))
