What are the requirements for the Airframe/Powerplant license? Is it a series
of FAA exams? Any practical experience required(as seems to be the case with
the avionics tech license)?

read FAR 65, that has all the requirements for the A&P certificate
there are 4 tests, 3 written and 1 oral and practable
