It looks like there is good information here from someone with
experience in running an aerial photography business. But, the fact
that he charges up to $700 for his course, and with statements like:
"Now You Too Can Earn Extra Cash In Your Spare Time Quickly And Easily
By Duplicating His Success Using His Simple, Proven, Step-By-Step,
Paint-By-The-Numbers Blueprint!", naturally you have to wonder.
Then again, if the information is thorough and accurate AND he provides
unlimited phone/email mentoring personally for one year... isn't this a
great deal? I would love for a professional AP to provide me with
training and mentoring, but obviously no one will do this for free, and
certainly not my would-be competitors. If it gets me on the right
foot, should I care if he's capitalizing on his knowledge?
It's the presentation that makes me cringe: "Special Lower Pricing For
a Limited Time", and "P.S. Remember I can only guarantee you'll receive
the extra aerial photography bonuses if you order by midnight Tuesday,
June 20, 2006"
Thoughts?
What are other options besides trial and error and spending MANY hours
digging up information and MISinformation on the internet?

There are professional photographer pilots among the readership of
this newsgroup who will doubtless be able to provide some insight into
the technical side of this issue. But, the way I see it, the
marketing aspect is probably an even larger challenge.
Like you intimate, the pitch sounds like a late-night infomercial.
This sort of "sell 'em your package of instructions, because there's
no way to make an adequate amount just marketing the product of those
instructions" scheme has been notorious for decades.
Does Air Photo.com mention how extensive the marketing aspect of their
package is?
