I can't find any car agency that serves MYR in San Diego.
Should I just plan on going to SAN? Anyone know what fees
they have??

MYR is Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and I don't know about rental cars
there. The two FBOs at Montgomery Field (MYF) in San Deigo can both arrange
rental cars.

I'd suggest that you land with an airplane. It makes the departure much easier.

At MYF you can get a rental from Gibbs. The fees at SAN are very high
($35/day).
Get a copy of a Pilot's Guide to California airports for all the info about
rentals, patterns, VFR callup points, etc.
