Is there a simple flightplan program that works on a Macintosh? I just
want something basic that if I want to go from Atlanta to Memphis that I
could plot a course and get basic info (how many miles, ect). Even a
simple website would work. I know there is flightprep.com but they want
a monthly service charge that wouldnt be worth it for what I do and a
little more elaborate than what I'd need for VFR flights.

Anyone have luck with a flight simulator on a Mac. I have used X-plane
and one of the other major programs but they seem to really suck.

Did you try www.duat.com? I do all my daily flightplanning with them,
even file the flightplan. Nice thing is, it remembers your A/C-Data from
the last plan, and you can also use it through those black wsi-pc's at a
lot of FBO's. I know, the interface is pretty basic, but it works very
well.

And for pilots it's free, even student pilots as long as you have a
medical.
