Bob, let's hope the egroups/Darter member list grows. Great way to
find help, parts, even organize fly-ins.

I think wasn't there an article about Darters in April 1999 Flying
magazine? Or was it Plane and Pilot... heck, can't remember.

Just curious...the flight school I belonged to back in the early '70's had a
Darter and a Lark Commander. I haven't seen either of these type of planes in
a long time. Does anyone know how many are still flying?

179 still registered...not sure how many are still flying.

Too bad they couldn't keep up with Cessna's marketing, they're great
little airplanes, and parts aren't that difficult to find. Cessna 172-
like flying for a lot less!
