(yes, I know all about -app/downloading-zscaler-app and all about trying to download via the enterprise or what is made available by admin - I am trying to use and test the client independently on an ARM64 Surface Pro X)
As evident the traffic once it reaches Zscaler APP ( client connector) is filtered and only port 80, 443 is tunneled across to the Zscaler cloud through the physical interface. The App installed creates a virtual ethernet network interface that is assigned a synthetic IP address from 100.64.0.0/16 address space (non-routable).

Bypassing in forwarding profile PAC will send it directly towards internet and not send it towards client connector. Whatever reaches client connector can still be bypassed and send directly towards internet using App profile PAC. Hope that helps. I will explain it in detail in my future article. Thanks..
The Zscaler client connector can be installed on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android & iOS. Once your account has been enabled you will need to install the software on your device which is available at our download site. Download the Zscaler client connector.
After installing the software, simply open the Zscaler client connector and log in as username ic.ac.uk with your standard Imperial password. You may also be prompted to approve the login with your usual multi-factor authentication (MFA) method.
