My mother (82) loves watching MASH which is being re-run on one of the
satellite channels. She just asked me if I knew what ICOR? / I Corps?
is. It appears to be something to do with HQ.

Anyone have any ideas?

Army corps are numbered with roman numerals, i.e., l Corps, ll Corps,
etc.

l Corps is invariably pronounced 'Eye' Corps.

A corps in the U.S. Army is a level of command. For example, in Viet
Nam there were four. I Corps was furthest north and IV Corps was
furthest south. I Corps is called "eye core" for obvious reasons. The
rest are "two core, three core and four core."
