Yeah, right.

They'll shut down a power infrastructure programme that affects only
the ordinary people but will continue to support all those high
performance combat aircraft...

So the US will become even more unpopular there, but the Pakistani
elites and military will be utterly unaffected.

Banning the pipeline will also effect the money Iran gets.

India has just done a deal, with tacit US approval, to buy all the
Iranian oil and raw material it wants.

They're building a huge port complex to support this trade.

That's what Standard Chartered Bank paying its fine in New York was
actually about.
