Installing this on an NT4.0 (SP3) system caused the need to reinstall NT and
the registries from the emergency disk. Whatever it replaces during setup
causes performance of the system to degrade about 4000% ! I cannot state
that the same effect will occur on other NT4 platforms, but....

And yes, I should have known better than to allow it to proceed with
the installation. I did not (nor will I now) try it on a Win95 system.

The software has been installed on a number of NT4.0's and WIN95's
without any problems. This particular problem is the only reported
failure and we are trying to figure out the reason for it.

I have installed in on my Win95 system with no problems. I have also
upgraded to Win98 without problems.

Not mentioned, is the 450 FIM charge to register. What is the current
exchange rate on the FIM (Finn Mark) to the dollar?

I just asked a flight instructor who is from Finland. He said it was about $85.

where a set of /better/ flight planning forms are available for free download.
also available for download there is shareware for the private pilot ground school
test.
