There are two seat cushion foams listed in the Aircraft Spruce catalog.
One is the three layer 3" Temperfoam cushion that was mentioned before.
The other is called Backsaver foam and appears much thinner. Does anybody
know anything about the thinner Backsaver foam?

A question to the people who use the three layer Temperfoam- Assuming a
three inch cushion, how much does the cushion compact when you sit on it?

I want to use one of these foams, but at 6'4" I'm affraid the 3"
Temperfoam will reduce the headroom in my Challenger II.

Thanks

John, I doubt that it compresses over an inch if that. Check out your space
requirements carefully because Temperfoam is well worth the price. I can't
comment on the other product.

Just use 2-1" layers of the stiffer foams. Most of the crash protection should
be in those two layers, though it might be a bit hard on the rear until the
foam warms up.
