I am 16 and would like to learn to hang-glide. I live just north of
Seattle, so any info on teachers in Everett would be great, too. I may not
start right away, because I am involved in a lot of other stuff, too, but
it's nice to know my options.

thanx,

Find another hobby kid, hang gliding is very dangerous, I ought to
know, I've spent the last 15 years of my life in a wheelchair because
of it. And I was a damn good pilot!!

I am very sorry to hear about your bad luck. But during the last 15
years the gliders and the equipement became a real lot more safe.
Over here in Germany, hanggliding is reported less dangerous than
general aviation by the statistics (don't know whether on a per pilot,
pre flight or per airtime-hour basis).

Anyway, I would like to hear more about the circumstances of your
accident.

Regards,

Dirk
