After hearing all the negative words about the styling of the new
Prelude, I was looking forward to seeing it myself. I was pleased
to find it on the front cover of the new Car and Driver which arrived
yesterday, and I honestly didn't see what all the fuss was about. I
mean, the front end looked pretty cool. It wasn't until I paged
through the article that I found out what everyone is complaining
about. That Prelude rear end is enough to gag a maggot.

Also, the new Civic four door sedans look to be pretty puke-ugly, too.
Remember, I'm a loyal Honda owner, so I'm not bashing the things
because I hate Hondas. I just think some of the design details
look like they were lifted from the Oldsmobile design department.
What ever happened to the idea of a flat trunk surface? The new
civic 4-doors look like the runt of an Integra litter.

Oh, well. It's not like I can afford a new car anyway............;-(

I thought it looked like they copied a Toyota Tercel for the 4-door.
Auto Week says they dropped the wagon from the Civic lineup.

You are absolutely right. They do look like Toyota Tercels.

car & driver reports that the ultra-suave honda civic Vtec motor
will not be sold on civics in California, because of California's
tougher NO emissions standards! b o g u s ! maybe next year?

also, the base honda civic CX is now going to cost $8000,
a jump of $1000 from the 91 prices.
