Things that must be turned in separately (cannot mix with used oil) are:
antifreeze, solvents (including motor flush, etc.), brake fluid, paint,
detergents/soaps. Was told these contaminate the oil and making it
non-recyclable.

oops, I mixed some brake fluid in with my oil. Now what do I do with it?
Don't they just burn it for energy anyway? Autozone told me some people
mixed anti-freeze with their oil, but they still took it in.
