Well, you have to admit, for the CART owners it has been about the
money, too. After all, you don't see any of them rushing out there
buying up CART/MPH stock now do you?
Like Mikey said, they took the money and ran and USED everybody they
could along the way, including the fans, to carpetbag their fortunes.
At least Tony George is putting some of the coinage BACK into the
sport. How about them there CART owners, little hare? Don't see them
putting any bucks back into CART, now do you?
Nope! In fact, the buggers are SO greedy that now they want to be
SUBSIDIZED to stay! Hell, Ganassi is already getting an extra near $2
MILLION from them there CART stockholders and investors just to run
another car to keep the grids at 18!
Yep! Its about the money! Tony George puts it in! The little guy CART
stockholders put it in! The CART institutional investors that have
been sold a plot of swamp land put it in! Do the CART team owners put
it in?
Hell no! Just like Mikey said.
Oh, and BTW, as soon as the stockholders and investors figure that
out, then CART takes the long, long dirt nap!

The IRL and the Indy 500 are a joke, The 500 is a sham made up in the
image of a race that was once one of the best. The IRL has destroyed
open wheel racing with its wreck fests and poor driver quality, while
diluting what exists as a fan base to the point where it's pathetic.
Tony George started a ladder series to nowhere, and the only
justification people come up with is that sponsors, who know shit,
want to sell soap and ciggarettes on the sides of the cars, so that
must be OK and it's a good thing. Pedal to the metal, less than 20
races that are clones of each other, save for the one that holds it
all together, is not racing, it's a circus like professional
wrestling.
People like you, who only talk about the other series demise, don't
care. I've read your posts, you know nothing about racing and find
joy in pissing on people.
People like that usually get their teeth kicked out of their jaws
where I come from.

So exactly how do you feel about the CARTisan CHUMPS who only talk of
the demise of the IRL and NASCAR? Are you saying that they don't care
about racing either?
These CARTisans who regularly claim that the IRL won't survive, and
that NASCAR has reached its peak and is now self-destructing, and that
F-1 has become a joke and is not worth watching and that Bernie is
simply out to destroy all other racing; these CARTisan CHUMPS who say
those sorts of things "know nothing about racing and find joy in
pissing on people;" is that your contention also?
