I like the occasional comparison between the changes in the NASCAR standings
if the F1 or CART systems were used. Is this posted regularly anywhere?
Does anyone have the 1999 final standings via F1 or CART?

I've been keeping one using F1 points, although I haven't advertised it
here much...

Talk about a close points race it would have been at the end this year
using the F1 points system. Plus, I would have been very happy for
Bobby Labonte!

More often than not in F1 the point battle goes right down to the wire. None of
the "folks, all he needs to do is finish 36th or better" crap. I've always thought
that one of the really neat things about F1 is those incredibly complex and
expensive cars being scored by that brutally simple point system.
