Does anyone know who drives the Maxwell House Nascar car?
Also, why wasn't the pit crew wearing flame retardant uniforms when they did
the pit stop? They looked like dealer service mechanics, not a Nascar crew
(they wore white shirts and regular pants).
Thanks! I am new to Nascar.
I believe the commercial was just that - a commercial. You can look on
nascar.com under Drivers > Car Number Index and see all of the sponsors by
series. No Maxwell House Coffee in the lists. Maxwell House may provide
minor sponsorship on a car, but they are not a primary sponsor of any car.

Carl Edwards had a Maxwell House co-sponsored car last year at Charlotte...
me thinks.

Mark Martin drove the Folgers car.
My first thought was that bevo was thinking of the Stroh('s) Light car
that was almost the same shade of blue and the decals were identical.
Combine that with Folger's and I can see how that mistake could be made.
John not mentioning the whole Marlin/Martin deal
I just saw this commercial. It is Mark Martins team. Kraft is one of his
sponsors, they also own the Maxwell House brand.
The reason they weren't wearing uniforms during the pit stop you saw was
that they were practicing pit stops, not doing a pit stop during an actual
race.
Good commercial, too.
After all..both are "Good To The Last Drop."
As John said, its any easy mistake. He drove a blue (Maxwell House color)
Stroh's Light car and he drove a coffe sponsored car. I can see how you
could have put it together.
