I think he was the one that turned over on his side and hit the caution
light.

As long as you're at it, I wonder what happened to Neil Bonnett. His roof
is totally gone too.
If I remeber correctly, they were both on Hoosiers and suffered
tire failiures coming out of the turn and got pointed right into
the wall and met their demise.

"What have I done to deserve this red misery?

The infamous Website City.
You can tell that Neil's roof was cut off, but Orr's roof looks sheared (as
well as the entire drivers side of the car). It looks like it went roof
first into a solid object. Scary.
Rodney Left the Speedway! He went over the wall, down the berm and to the
road outside and below the speedway. Only thing I can't remember was if it
was in 1 or 3

Nope, your thinking of Jimmy Horton. Craven was saved by the fencing
that went up after Horton's flight. (Horton walked away.) Orr's car got
airborne at Daytona and hit one of the poles that holds the caution lights.

He hit the mast supporting the caution lights. It's just like
hitting a tree, telephone pole or light pole (see Jeff Krosnoff); it'll damn
near cut a car in two.
