Crew chief Dave Rogers to Kyle Busch over the team radio at Bristol. Guess Kyle
is still the immature little jerk he's always been. Wish Joe Gibbs would fire
his whiney little a$$.

That's a real quote? Certainly does not bode well for the
future of that team if the crew chief and driver have that
sort of relationship.

Can't see Gibbs firing Busch (immature or not, he's the
moneymaker for that team), but I could see a change in
crew chiefs being in the offing.

I also can't see that team holding up under the pressure
of the elimination rounds of the Chase.

According to a story on Jayski credited to MRN it's a real quote.

Unfortunately, you're probably right. Gibbs has had plenty of more serious
incidents than this to deal with. I'd say if you stick with a guy even when
the sponsor is ticked off at him (remember the truck race where Busch wrecked
Hornaday), something like this isn't going to get you fired.

Agreed and I'm glad. I hope they're one of the first four to wash out.

I guess different people get along differently.

Busch parked the car on pit road. He and Rogers later talked, according to
the story, and Joe Gibbs Racing owner Joe Gibbs said the two would be able
to move on.
"I think it was just one of those things where it heated up,'' Gibbs told
the website. "I think they handled it the right way, they went and had a
good discussion.''

Well, I guess what we don't know is if they always talk
to each other that way. If it's normal for them to use
half-joking insults to each other, and they're comfortable
with it, then the only thing that's new here is someone
heard it on the radio.

Maybe Dan has some insights...

Rumor has it that he may be on his way out of the door at JGR.

Unlikely.
Mars resigned with a multi year, as did Monster and other associates.

I hope you're right, but right now I wouldn't bet on it. I keep a pretty close
ear to the ground and I haven't heard any speculation to that effect anywhere.

In the grand scheme of all the boneheaded, immature things KB has done, this
seems pretty minor. Gibbs stuck with him in the wake of that incident in the
truck race where he wrecked Hornaday in a hissy fit, got himself parked for
the weekend by NASCAR and then M&M's begged off the car their next scheduled
race. If that's doesn't get you fired, nothing will.

I'm beginning to think you don't buy a lot of Kyle Busch souveniers.

There's only one Kyle Busch souvenir that I'd buy, and I can't seem to find
one--a Kyle Busch dart board.

Danged if I know why Staples would stock such
a thing.

Nope. Not exactly what I had in mind. I'm thinking real darts, not magnetic
ones, and KB's picture as the target.

They are hard to get.
I did manage to find one similar though...
In my game room.
