IHRA: Bob Gillig Update

[This was received form Bob Gillig's wife as an update on his condition--eds]

Hi everyone...I am so sorry I haven't written you back with news of Bob's
condition. You can imagine how busy and overwhelmed we have been here. Bob
is doing great, we brought him home Wed. and he's on the road to recovery.
With a good diet, exercise, meds, and some R&R not to mention a little TLC he
will be his old "bad" self real soon! LOL!

He had an angiogram on Monday, they did and angioplasty and inserted 2 stints
to open up the bad artery. With all the wonderful friends and family he's
surrounded with he's bound to recover in no time.

Our sincere thank you's to everyone who was so kind to send us lovely notes of
encouragement and concern & all those prayers...they worked! :) You have no
idea how much that meant to us especially Bob. He loved hearing who called or
wrote. I will keep you posted.

I guess his timing couldn't have been better. With the 1998 racing season at
an end, he can recoop without being stressed to get to the next event! Its
unreal how things happen. Our best to you all, take care. TEAM IHRA thanks
for a wonderful year, its been the BEST!

OH...BTW Bob say's "hi and this isn't the end of Gillig Motorsports and that
BAD Olds Cutless!" LOL
