For the first time ever our local daily paper actually had a article about
F1 this morning. It was buried on pages 3 of the sports section, but it's a
start.

There was actually a picture of Hamilton (medium sized one) on the
first page of The New York Times sports section.

now that ottawa lost the stanley cup, there's not much sports going on
for canadians so there was a full article on f1 rather than just the
usual corner with f1 packed in with nascar and indy lol

I see Autosport are going to be doing their usual tribute to a British
driver who wins something big, changing their masthead to green.

Might be worth buying a copy to flog on Ebay after he's become a
champion. ;-)

I assume so (as he was the golden boy then too) but as I stopped buying
the mag a few years back I don't know for sure. I just saw the mock up
of the front page for this weeks one on their website.
