FFS stop being such a prick. Ferrari cheated, McLaren cheated, Renault
cheated. Whinge, whine, scream and kick your feet, you won't make any
of them any more or less guilty.
If the 2008 McLaren has been cleared then you can be sure it is legal.
We can't be nearly so sure of the Ferrari.

Or for the retards....
"The Mclaren I.P has now been handed over to Ferrari to copy at will"
(No doubt they'll have their other close competition's I.P too, Renault)

Fixed your typo..
And Ferrari already have a backup of their own IP - but thanks for playing.

As long as Ron Dennis has an office McLaren will never be clean.

"Shame that New Zealand team made a mess of things."
Fact: Ron Dennis came with 200 signatures of employees stating under oath
they never had access to any Ferrari information.
I don't see how any car can be cleared for more than a split second.
By the time that that apology had been accepted by the FIA McLaren
would have been busy with new developments for that car.
What they've done is to agree to halt a particular line of development
(without admitting guilt).
I don't think we've heard the last of this by the way. There's still
the question as to how Spyker (as they were then) got hold of drawings
of part of the Torro Rosso car, and does anybody think that
Stepneygate and Mackereth are the only two instances ever in which
technical information, as opposed to knowledge in somebody's head, has
moved from one team to another?
In fact we know that it's not. Apart from the Spyker issue mentioned
above there was the use of Ferrari IP in the Toyota a few years ago.
The FIA are right to investigate rigorously when cases of this nature
are laid before them. It's very damaging to the reputation of the
sport. But we err in concluding that it is only McLaren and Renault
who are guilty. They are just the teams that got caught.
IMO it would have been less damaging if they had got off their arses
and carried out a rigorous investigation back in the summer when the
accusatione were being thrown around.
If it were in their nature to investigate more thoroughly as a matter
of course I think many of us would all be happier.
And as long as you have access to a computer this newsgroup won't be
free of dribble.
