However, Ant Davidson's unfortunate experience at
Montreal shows that, despite the safety advances made
for drivers, F1's beavers, woodchucks, and other
trackside animals, still participate in F1 only at
risk of injury and death.
Obviously, it is time for Bernie Ecclestone, Max
Mosley, and the entire FIA structure, to address,
seriously and comprehensively, the issue of
beaver safety in F1. Strict new rules must be
drafted, new beaver safety equipment must be
devised, tested, and approved, and beaver safety
compliance must be assured by the strictest level
of scrutineering available.
The time is NOW for beaver safety in F1. Let's all
support this important issue.
