Pininfarina: pronunciation? Plus A40 libel

Is the name pronounce "Pinn - Inn", as looks the case? I have
wondered for many many years. (French pron. was beaten into me way
back, so----)

Secondly, someone in the obituary thread insulted the Auston A40
design --- no sir, a great little visual DESIGN (I'm not commenting on
manufacturing quality, reliability, etc), and at the time extremely
modern.

The modded version shown on the link below "got the chop", yet if it
had received some more some polish and paint it could have looked look

it's pronounced in two parts with a pause in between, something like
pinnin-fahreenah, in a very italian way, cazzo!
