Nico Rosberg & Michael Schumacher

The competition between these two has been fascinating to watch. My
analysis is that Rosberg is the better qualifier and more reliable
racer while Schumacher is now starting to consistently show better
race pace. The last 4 races that Schumacher finished his fastest lap
beat Rosberg's. If Schumacher can crack the secret to modern
qualifying he will likely start beating Rosberg constantly.

So does this mean Schumacher is regaining his old form, or that Rosberg
is actually no better than those who didn't rate him thought all along -
and the car is stronger than the drivers are able to show?

I think Rosberg is one of those really good mid fielders who, in the
possession of a great car, could be a spoiler (but never a WDC). But
I think Schumacher underestimated the amount of time it would take to
get back into F1 competitively and how long it would take to learn
"the new F1". Well, new to him. I think he lost that tenth and has
gotten back .09. Whether the car will ever give him the rest is in
the air. And from where I can see it seems that Mercedes isn't
letting him do a "Michael comes to Ferrari" makeover.

I think Schumacher underestimated the amount of time it would take to
