Just been watching the Monte Carlo Rally on tv, and previous threads
about the very narrow roads in RC2000 came to mind.

Some of the stages in the Monte rally were obscenely narrow, just wide
enough for one car, long straights with very sharp hairpins bends, a
mountain on one side, a 1000 foot drop on the other, and snow and ice to
cap it all off.
And they were driving like madmen on these stages at night too!
Awesome....
