WELL KNOWN TEN DRIVER JOINS HIGH GEAR

Today High Gear and Scott B.Husted announced that they will be joining
forces in providing the latest news on the newest racing sims at
http://www.simracingnews.com. Scott has been running online races on TEN
(Total Entertainment Network) from January, 1998 and is a regular
participant in this series. From today onwards Scott will write a weekly
column called "The View".

"The View" is going to be many things. It is going to be my "View" and it is
going to be a "View" of the sim racing community as a whole. I am going to
present my perspective on the sim racing community as events and information
arises." said Scott.

"I hope to encourage our readers by learning more about sim racing as a
community as well as a hobby, a form of entertainment, or as some of our
more committed fellow racers see it.the next auto racing sport. The primary
focus will be with the online racing community, but not exclusively. I will
try to inform, debate, entertain, and outright provoke my readers.

This column will hopefully allow you to examine situations and the community
from different perspectives you may not have envisioned before. With your
feedback, perhaps I will learn from you as well. I will attempt to perform
interesting interviews with racers from all forms of sim racing. I hope to
provide insight into circumstances that have caused controversy and also
break news that will provoke the community into action for the betterment of
all sim racers."

High Gear is the premier online magazine for the sim racing community.
Kenneth Verburg (webmaster of High Gear) said:"Today we have launched our
new design and the only thing which needs to be improved right now is the
content. That's why we have asked Scott to join our other TEN Driver, Tom
Pabst (writing the highly successful "Crew Chief's Notebook and Racer's
Tip").

From today onwards you'll be able to find Scott's (weekly) column at
http://www.simracingnews.com/theview/.

He should name his column "Shut up Scott !" hehehehehe

Well known TEN driver ? You need to send some monetary compensation Scott
to the Godfather for having people say such things without my approval.
Congrats, still ! ;-)

LOL Frank,

Do realize how much its costing me just to get Ken and High Gear to publish my
articles?? ;)

Im don't think the guys (gals) outside of the TEN newsgroup will realize where
"Shut up Scott!" originated <VBG>

I'm very excited about being a part of High Gear. We have many new and
interesting projects in the works. So visit often! Better yet... make it the
home page in your browser! =)

Scott....

Welcome aboard High Gear! I'm very pleased you are joining the High Gear
writing staff.

I'm also happy to have a fellow American on the staff.....someone I don't have
to say, "Good morning" to....when it's 11:30 pm (my time)! lol -:)

I've known you for over a year now. You always are "informed" and you always
manage to be "competitive" on every race track. Coupled with your SCCA racing
background, your knowledge of racing in general (online or real-life) is
excellent and I look forward to your thoughts and comments in your new weekly
column, "The View" on High Gear.

See you on Spyboy! And I'll look forward to your input at all staff meetings!

Regards,

Tom Pabst

Sure Meiji, right after you learn grammar and how to recognize satire.

That wasn't satire.. I think you need to re-read your dictionary. Your
definition of satire seems to be about as good as Bruce's with his stuff on
the Stunned Mullet.
