2 NEW GPL home made videos @ APR

I would like to say thank YOU to the people who showed interest on the GPL
videos section @ APR.
There are 2 NEW VIDEOS avaiable, with better image quality, smaller
filesize, and greater imagination. I can't avoid to call your attention to
Peter Holt's video @ Monza. It is great!
So, lets all work together on this new kind of GPL software: home made
videos :-)
Post them to the FTP server [ ftp.ArturMarques.com ] to the incoming
directory, using a dedicated FTP client [not the browser, please]
But first, go check those 2 new videos. Things are very promissing! If the
quality arrived where it is now, in just one week of "promotion" [or no
promotion at all, as I don't have the time to do that], I can't wait to see
where it will stand in a few months time.
If Quake-kind-of-games motivated many people into level editing, I think
that this ideia of the GPL videos can do the same for digital video editing.
Enough! Go visit the APR [Alain Prost Racing] website. Ah, and PLEASE, if
you can help promoting this thing, PLEASE DO. I simply have no experience in
mass promoting stuff.

The other two videos are interesting. Do you use automatic gears? If so I'm
surprised to see such good lap times. If not, where are your shifters?

the Peter Holt video problem is solved. I am very sorry about it. It was all
about permissions. When Peter uploaded the file, it went to the only
possible folder (incoming), but then it was avaiable for download only for
me, not for anonymous clients.
That is fixed now.
I use MANUAL gears, but you can't see me shifting because I use the MS FF
wheel, which has the gear controls behind.

I will try to post new videos every week, plus some very short tutorials on
how to do FAST mpeg files. Most people think that MPEG takes hours to
encode. That normally happens, but there are ways around it :-)
