I seem to have problems with the graphics in this game. When you go to take
off the car just moves like stop-go-stop-go. The video card I have is fine
it is: 2mb, 64-bit, with like 16.7 million colors (who really cares). Would
having a 486 have an effect on the game. Is there cheaper ways of getting
around this than buying a new computer.

That's a problem that has been plaguing that game since it came out. Go have a look at http://www.thisgame.com . I think I saw a patch that would optimize that game for a 386 so playing that game on a 486 should be no problem.

Yep, I've tried it and it worked very well on my 286 system.

Scooby, you`re missing the point I think, I have no problems reading
HTML, BUT, his message was about 9K in size, my news provider gives me
max 175 bytes/sec download on news-messages........

Besides, there are some very good newsreaders out there that doesn`t
support HTML, why should Remco be forced to go get a new one because
some people think it`s cool to post with HTML, total waist of bandwith
if you ask me, then again I just might be old fashioned :-)

Beers and cheers

HTML is for Web Pages.

Agreed.
The same message in both formats can give three times the number of
"lines" in HTML and therefore takes a darn sight longer to open.
